Honda reveals five new 2013 models

CB500X, CB500F and CBR500R
THREE new middleweight machines with ABS as standard fitment all share the same 471cc, parallel twin motor, 35mm steel tube frame and running gear and can be ridden by A2 licence holders, plus experienced riders looking for an economical smaller capacity machine.
New F800GT from BMW

The new middleweight touring 798cc parallel twin F800GT replaces the highly successful F800ST. ‘Gran Tourismo’ model gets ABS as standard plus Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) and traction control as factory-fit options.

Kawasaki announces prices for ZX-6R, Z800 and 300

THE new 636cc ZX-6R will cost £8999, rising to £9999 for the ABS model when it goes on sale in the UK shortly – watch out for the launch test in the December issue of MCM.
Stafford Show set-up day

It's set up day at the The 19th Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show at Stafford's County Showground and it's already looking packed out with traders and bikes. The show opens to the public tomorrow October 20 at 9am sharp, and runs on Sunday October 21 too...

Metzeler competition update

For those looking for the Metzeler competition, it has now closed. The original printed closing date of the 18th was incorrect, as part of the prize included tickets to an event before that date.

New Kawasaki models announced

KAWASAKI has just unveiled three new models: the ZX-6R, Z800 and Ninja 300.
As widely anticipated, the 2013 ZX-6R is returning to a 636cc capacity from its existing 599cc, achieved through a longer-stroke motor. This should mean increased low to midrange grunt and friendlier road manners across the
rev range.
