The first motorcycle in the sale, the 1955 DB34 Gold Star BSA which was last on the road in 1968 and in need of a full restoration, made £7200 -- well over its estimate. While the biggest sale of the weekend, the Brough Superior SS100 "Moby Dick", made a huge £190,000 under the hammer.
