Treat someone to a unique Christmas present they'll never forget - How often do you get the chance to sit down and have dinner with a legend, a true great, a hero? Well that's what you could be doing in just a few short months, as the countdown continues to the 32nd Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show.

Get ready for a feast of motorcycling with 'Ago'

The event at the Stafford County Showground over the weekend of April 28 and 29, 2012, is set to once again pull in big crowds thanks to the superb mix of displays, trade and autojumble stalls and club stands. Add to this the Bonhams auction and it's already a 'can't miss'… and that's before we even get to the Classic Racer Grand Prix Paddock – bigger than ever for this event – and the legend they call 'Ago'.

Giacomo Agostini is quite possibly the greatest racer ever to take to the track on two wheels. The Italian, who will be 70 this summer, won a staggering 15 world championship titles in the 1960s and 70s in the 350 and 500cc classes.

He will be returning to Stafford this spring as guest of honour on both Saturday and Sunday, and as a special treat there's also 'An audience with…' event on the Saturday evening, and tickets are now on sale for that too.

The dinner, which will also feature a question and answer session with the former Agusta and Yamaha rider, starts at 8pm at the Tillington Hall Hotel, Stafford. Tickets for the evening include a buffet meal, entry into a prize draw and a chance to meet Ago. There will also be a charity auction in aid of the TT Riders' Association. They are priced at £25 per head… but when they're gone, they're gone.

Show organiser Nick Mowbray said: "We're delighted that Giacomo Agostini – a real hero to many of us – is returning to Stafford and has agreed to be our guest of honour. We know he has a huge fan base in this country, and fans really shouldn't miss out on this chance to meet the great man. His appearance will turn what is already set to be a special event into something even more magical."

The show itself, the main reason for Ago's appearance, is now firmly established as one of the early season highlights of the motorcycling calendar. Last year saw more than 500 traders attend.

Now's the time to not only book for the 'Audience with…' but also the show itself, as you can make some real savings and also beat the queues – visit www.classicbikeshows.com or call 01507 529529 for more information.

Pre-booked tickets are £10 for an adult, £8.50 for seniors and £3 for under-15s, but on the gate it's £12, £10.50 and £4.

Gates open 9am on both days and close 6pm Saturday and 5pm Sunday.
