Train of thought
By: Web Editor
Dear MCM...As a police advanced rider I read your advanced riding article in the September issue with interest and would highly recommend this type of training, which unfortunately is seen by some as boring and uncool.
Improving your skill level and awareness enhances enjoyment, confidence and your progress on the road.
The photographs show you riding a Triumph Speed Triple, which is a passion I share with you. It’s the best bike I have owned to date and deserves to be used in your article.
Its use, coupled with the observer’s Honda Blackbird, removes the stereotypical impression that some people have of IAM riders favouring less appealing motorcycles.

I nearly applied for the IAM course but was put off when I found out you have to pay every year to keep it up. No thanks
