Triumph announce new adventure bike

Triumph have released the first of four teaser videos featuring their new mid-sized adventure bike on a special promo website, www.triumphadventure.com
According to Triumph, there will be ‘two all-new adventure models’, one a more road-oriented version and the other designed to tackle rougher off-road terrain, like BMW’s standard R1200GS and its Adventure sibling do.
Designed to take a slice of the ever-increasing adventure sports market, Triumph’s middleweight tourer looks set to rival the BMW F800GS although a 1200cc version can’t be ruled out. Whatever the final capacity, the new Triumph is sure to appeal to those riders who fancy a go-anywhere, do-anything bike that will hopefully be a little quirky in the best Triumph tradition and also cheaper than current rival machines.
The British manufacturer will hopefully unveil the new bikes on 18 September at their 20th anniversary Triumph Live celebration event.
