Revised Street Triple R & Shaft drive Explorer

The 1215cc three-cylinder Tiger Explorer is Triumph’s first entry into the large-capacity adventure touring sector and features include ABS, cruise control, traction control and shaft drive. It goes on sale from late March, priced at a £11,149 on the road. A limited number of launch edition models with additional accessories such as an adjustable touring screen, fog lights, hand guards and engine protection bars, are also available for £11,999.

Joining the Tiger Explorer is the Speed Triple R. Taking the Speed Triple as its base, the ‘R’ version boasts MotoGP developed Ohlins suspension front and rear, Brembo monobloc brakes and lightweight forged aluminium wheels, as well as new colours and graphics, will cost £11,299 OTR and is available from late February. A launch edition featuring ABS, flyscreen, belly pan, gel seat and tyre pressure monitoring, is also available for £12,499 OTR.

Watch out for launch tests of both bikes in upcoming MCM issues.
